As a candidate, you may:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your qualifications and experience.
  • Engage with employers through the Site to seek employment opportunities.

3.2 Employers

As an employer, you may:

  • Post job opportunities and search for suitable candidates.
  • Ensure that all job postings comply with applicable employment laws and do not discriminate against candidates.
  • Provide accurate information regarding job roles, qualifications, and any other pertinent details.

4. Content Creation and Uploads

4.1 User-Generated Content

Users may create and upload content, including job postings and user profiles. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such content in connection with the operation of the Site.

4.2 Content Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, and you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the content.
  • Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, and complies with all applicable laws.

5.3 Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable unless specified otherwise. Any exceptions will be at our discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlbertaWork shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the services provided, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the services in the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlbertaWork, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms.
